Mandeep holds a degree in Computer Science and is a Ubiquiti Enterprise Wireless Admin (UEWA) certified professional, a qualification he’s held since 2020. On top of that, he carries multiple professional certifications in virtualisation and application technologies from Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware by Broadcom, the same platforms that power the world’s largest data centres.

That career spans leading global organisations across financial services, manufacturing, and professional services, working alongside major technology partners including Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro. It’s experience that taught him how enterprise networks are designed, stress-tested, and maintained at scale, and it’s the same standard he applies to every home and small business project.

On the hardware side, Mandeep has worked extensively with HP, Cisco, and Dell EMC. But for the past eight years, his preferred choice has been Ubiquiti, whose enterprise-grade hardware and software deliver corporate-level performance at a price point that makes sense for residential and SME customers.

He has also completed fibre optic and copper structured cabling courses from Connectix Cabling Systems, giving Batra.ai true end-to-end capability: from designing the network architecture right through to terminating and certifying every cable run.

1. Site Survey & Discovery

Every engagement starts with a proper walkthrough of the property, not a guess from a floor plan. We map existing signal coverage, identify construction materials that block radio frequencies, assess cable routing options, and talk through how the family or team actually uses the space hour by hour. The outcome is a written design that reflects real usage, not a generic template.

2. Design Principles

Every network Batra.ai designs is scalable, serviceable, and future-proof. Switching capacity is sized one generation ahead of current needs. Cable runs are over-specified so upgrades do not require new trenches. Access points are placed for coverage first, aesthetics second, but always both. We deliberately avoid vendor lock-in on anything that cannot be swapped out in five years without replacing the whole stack.

3. Hardware Selection

Hardware is chosen on three criteria: proven reliability under sustained load, a clear manufacturer warranty and firmware-support roadmap, and a price point that makes sense for a residential or SME budget. We do not sell top-of-the-range kit where a mid-tier unit genuinely does the job, and we do not compromise on core infrastructure to save a few pounds on the bill of materials.

4. Build & Testing Standards

Every cable run is terminated and certified with calibrated test equipment, not just tested with a cheap continuity tester. Wi-Fi deployments are validated with before-and-after coverage maps and real-world throughput measurements from every room. Every CCTV camera is tested for field-of-view, night-vision performance, and motion accuracy before we pack up and leave. Nothing is signed off until it has been under load for at least 24 hours.

Every installation ships with proactive monitoring, labelled documentation, and a contactable engineer, not a ticket queue. If something needs adjusting six months later, it is the same team who know the property and the design. Stability is treated as a first-class feature, not a happy accident.
